Thousands of People Save Money Online - Parents Buying and Selling Items They Thought Worthless PRWEB

Kidswap.ca, a unique and fast moving web site geared toward buying and selling child related items, has re-launched with a brand new look.

(PRWEB) January 3, 2005 -- Kidswap.ca has revamped, re-launched, and is out to save parents money. Canada's only buy and sell geared specifically toward children's items, Kidswap has literally thousands of parents jumping into online shopping. Packed with deals that have to be seen to be believed, this site is the answer to parents who need to make or save money every month. The company tag line “Swapping kids stuff, not kids, since 2003” sets the tone for a site based on community. Parents from across Canada flock to Kidswap for the great deals on children’s items, but they have access to much more. There is an all-Canadian forum for example, that lets the user swap tips on child rearing, find a helping hand in a crisis, or make friends in their area with other moms. The seminar series, added in October of 2004, helps teach parents how to package and sell their kid’s stuff for maximum profit, how to create a home based business selling items online, and allows users to share their success stories. The Kidswap photo contests are an extremely popular feature, with the last contest voting shutting down the site completely when over 4000 email votes were logged in one day. Launched in December of 2003, Kidswap has grown in one year to such a degree that there is currently over 6000 items online and an average of 30,000 hits per day. With great pricing, a large community, and the ability to sell your items in an item by item format, parents have been lured away from other large buy/sell sites and are quickly becoming hooked on Kidswap. The recent revamp and re-launch has added hundreds of categories to the site, as well as given customers in the US a chance to sign up and sell. The site is the brainchild of Shelly Wutke, a resident of Aldergrove, BC., who found a niche online and ran with it. Kidswap has been featured in various newspapers across Canada, as well as on City TV in Vancouver. The recent additions are only the beginning for the all new Kidswap. Auctions are being added by the end of January, and the prediction is that the site is poised on the brink of another dot com boom. ###
