EU fund must be used to solve rural broadband problem - IFA
Ireland’s allocation from the €1 billion European broadband scheme must be rolled out as a wireless broadband solution for rural areas according to IFA Director of Organisation James Kelly.

This vital initiative must be used to provide sustainable broadband to every farm business and home and to create an alternative to the deteriorating telecommunications options in rural Ireland, he said.

The EU fund should secure up to €35 million for this country which would be a huge boost
